Levesque’s North Country Outfitters was founded by Captain, Octave Levesque and his two sons Lou and Jason. While North Country is a family run operation, it has under its wings a well versed staff with 80+ years of combined experience harvesting sea duck.

N.C.O. prides itself on success day in and day out as well as its attention to the experience of 4each and every client who steps foot on a North Country vessel. Your hunt with us will rival your most memorable as we will put you into a combination of both amazing scenery and gunning opportunities. Far greater is the likelihood of a sore shoulder than a lack of birds when the Levesque’s take you hunting.

Quick tips* you should know:

In Pursuit of:
Eider, American Scoter, Surf Scoter, White Wing Scoter, Brant, Old Squaw, and other occasional divers

Bag Limit:
7 birds per hunter made up by no more than four of any species and only one hen Eider

Seasons:
The sea duck season here opens the beginning of October and runs until Mid January

Clothing:
You should wear warm, waterproof, & camouflage clothing. *DRESS WARM

Ammo:
We recommend you bring 4 boxes of shells. It is our experience that BB is a good size shot for this foul. *shot must be non-toxic

Harvest:
Bring a plastic bag or other carrying device for transporting harvested birds Upon booking your trip you will have multiple opportunities to discuss with the North Country staff all the things you may need for your hunt.
